GloPoWriMo Day 23

GloPoWriMo Day 23

Shine on, diamond
Make our home in velvet skies
We’re not meant for wordly eyes

Spark up, feel love
Every night when we’re alone
You know I like to hear you moan

Go slow, no no
You know that’s not our pace
We’re always trying to win the race

I know you like it just like me
You know that love can set us free

I die every night with you
Making shades of red and blue

So let’s start running to love
So let’s start running to us

Today, we challenge you to honor this idea with a poem based in sound. The poem, for example, could incorporate overheard language. Perhaps it could incorporate a song lyric in some way, or language from something often heard spoken aloud…

My not so vague inspiration…
