GloPoWriMo Day 4 (Haiku)

GloPoWriMo Day 4 (Haiku)

failure on your tongue
bitter tang of brussel sprouts
hard to swallow whole

Today, we challenge you to write a poem that is about something abstract – perhaps an ideal like “beauty” or “justice,” but which discusses or describes that abstraction in the form of relentlessly concrete nouns. Adjectives are fine too!

What a great prompt, such possibilities! Love as confectionery, sugary sweet fairly floss, salted caramel toffee, or chocolate, dark and bitter or filled with sweet surprises. Sounds good right? I thought so but I wrote that instead.

      1. lol, I love them, I am honestly one of three people I know that do. Roasted and seasoned is my favorite.
